Can I Download a Patient List With Demographics Data?

This is possible, though we do not recommend this. As a reminder, whilst using ClinicYou, you also have a duty to ensure patient data are protected. Downloading any kind of data from the browser on to devices where they can be viewed offline is a direct breach of this duty and your own data protection pledges will be invalidated by this.

Nevertheless, we recognise you might want to download some data in this manner. For instance, you can download your invoice data. We also allow a way to download a list of patients with limited demographics data - such as their date of birth, address and phone number information as an Excel file. If you must do this, click the View List button on Patients page. You can use the search box to narrow down patients by town and country, if required. Then click the Download button on the popup.

How about downloading other medical data?

Well, this is another story altogether. Because of the way different systems string together disparate information to make sense to the end user, it is literally impossible to download entries in the medical records of one system and import that seamlessly into another. It can be done, but take a lot of effort and engineer time - and thus can be expensive.
