Transcription on ClinicYou

ClinicYou has two ways of converting speech to text currently. On the notes section, there is a free of charge speech recognition service. Since it's based on a free API, we pay it forward - it is free for you to use. Just click the mic icon and you can talk your notes.

When you are ready to create a letter, a standard and age old way of clinical communication, you have several options:

Bring your previously made note text from (any) note. By default ClinicYou attaches the letter to the latest notes entry. Pick another from the dropdown menu if you want to attach the letter to another.

Type your letter yourself :)

If you are a subscribed ClinicYou user, hit the microphone icon on PAYG transcription panel. Dictate your letter. You don't have to say 'full stop', 'comma' etc. Speak normally. Include some emotion and speak naturally. Enjoy near 100% accuracy.





The voice files are deleted automatically; you are only billed for what you use. An average clinic letter will cost just around 20 pence! Transcriptions are itemised with your patient ID and length of dictation on your invoices.
