Call - Recall Feature
How does the Call - Recall feature work?
ClinicYou has a fail-safe way to ensure your patients don't get lost in the system. Making a new entry in the medical record provides the user an opportunity to create a recall reminder. Once you create a reminder, the patient and the clinic get notified a week before the set date. That can lead to a follow up appointment, tests, telephone call etc.
Patients receive an email and or SMS (depending on which of these is in the database). At the same time, the recall counter will show that patient as waiting recall.
A note can be saved without a recall reminder and all previously created reminders will be visible to all users, so that duplicate ones are not created accidentally. You can also delete a scheduled recall by clicking the trash icon.

The email that the patient receives currently has the following text:
Subject: Reminder to Arrange Follow-up
Dear Mr Doe,
This is an automated reminder for follow up created by Dr Smith at the interaction on Jan 20th 2020.
The clinic is aware of this interval review and might well contact you to arrange an appointment. However, you are very welcome to reply to this email to send a message to the clinic (clinic's email address) or call (clinic's phone number).
