Coherent Integration
Enable Electronic (Online and Card Machine) Payments
We have partnered with Coherent Healthcare to provide electronic invoice payments. Coherent provides reliable, efficient payment services, built specifically for healthcare. Coherent Pay supports all major payment methods and can be used for both online/link based payments and card machine transactions. By working with Coherent, clinics can enjoy greater savings and efficiency by consolidating all payment methods to a single provider.
Getting Started
Make sure you have admin rights (if you are a singlehanded clinician who opened signed up for ClinicYou, you already have it). If not, please ask someone with admin rights to give you that.
Click your profile picture on the upper right side of the page and choose My Account, then click Subscription.

On this tab, find the Electronic Patient Invoice Payments panel and click Enable Electronic Payments button
Follow instructions on the resulting popup and complete Coherent onboarding.
Please make sure you carefully choose the email address here as this will be used to login to Coherent.
Once onboarding is complete, you will receive notification from both Coherent and us. Incomplete onboarding will be flagged on the panel (awaiting Coherent signup completion). Some users who used Stripe payment portal will have an opportunity to choose which portal to use by selecting the appropriate radio button on the panel.

Whilst a paid subscription is not necessary to set up electronic payments, we do recommend it as some related features may not work as expected if you are on free plan.
Transaction Fees
Coherent is able to offer transaction fees much better than Stripe or similar services. Not only that, they are open to negotiating special deals for your clinic.
Funds processed are disbursed to your chosen bank typically about 2 business days after payment.
