Ordering Scans Through ClinicYou

ClinicYou has partnered with Scan.com to offer a seamless, end-to-end solution for private clinical imaging.

The order button will be visible on the patient's EMR page if you are a clinician. Clicking this will take you to our dedicated ordering page and will automatically create a clinician account on Scan.com if you are new to the service.



Please note that if you already have a scan.com account outside ClinicYou and have used the same email address as ClinicYou login email address, this could cause an error. Please change the email address on either of the systems.

On the page order page, choose the type of scan and one or more body parts. Depending on the type of scan, selectable body parts may be limited.





Once the above steps are complete, you can enter clinical information, upload a previous report if relevant (useful for complex reports and serial surveillance scans) and click order.





The patient will receive a text and email with instructions on how to complete the booking. For CT and MRI, safety questions will be presented to patient. Status of the booking is available in on the orders process and once report is available, the ordering clinician is informed by email, and link to the report and images will be available, including PACS where relevant.
